I keep coming back here just for the Classic Eggs Benedict. Soooo good. They add paprika and some other ingredients which make the dish taste amazing. I also recommend trying the deep fried bacon as a side dish to share. Definitely one of my favorite places in Marin.

My family had brunch at Kitchen Sunnyside. We were kind of surprised that nowhere on the menu did it say "gluten free." As in, not a single substitute was offered on the menu. But when we asked, they said they did have gluten free bread and it made good toast. They offer three different types of potatoes with brunch--home fries, hashbrowns or potato medley. Nowhere on the menu does it warn that the second and third are not gluten free. This is a serious risk for those truly intolerant. The crab Benedict was supposed to come with a spicy Hollandaise sauce but it seemed like the regular and was very bland (I like my Hollandaise with a good lemon juice kick!). All in all though we enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. I hope they'll upgrade their menu and get educated about food intolerances.

Great menu with high quality ingredients. The portions are very big, so be careful. My wife and I had the sunny side hash which was really tasty but heavy. The special bacon they have is one of a kind and definitely recommended.

There’s nothing better when on the road than finding a good breakfast place and this was it on the Sunday morning we were driving out of Mill Valley. It was packed, so while my (patient) husband waited in line I browsed the adjoining shops, which surprisingly were open. We finally were shown to seats at the counter and gratefully sat down to peruse a very lengthy and diverse menu.

This being Mill Valley, and this being California, the menu was filled with items such as eggs Benedict (seven versions), steel-cut oatmeal, fresh Dungeness crab (one of the many kinds of omelettes), chorizo, ciabatta, chicken apple sausage, even a ”morning taco.” And tofu, of course.

Both of us opted for the plain ole “two eggs any style” with bacon, for $11. It came with a choice of three kinds of potatoes and four kinds of bread, and got the day off to a super start.
