booked a table for dinner and wasn’t disappointed. Staff could not be faulted, very friendly and helpful (nothing was too much trouble).

The food was delicious and tasty. I would recommend the salt and chilli Chicken & haggis pakora for starters.

The main courses of steak pie, burger and chilli con carne were very filling.

This is a place I will certainly be back to visit when I’m next in the area.

Well spaced out tables, hand santizer on each table, catered for dogs (free sausages), excellent food, lovely views, brill kids meals and part of the government meal deal (so cheap too). Couldn't ask for more, thank you!

Worth the 20 minute walk from Gourock town centre, or the short bus journey. Food is fantastic and service couldn’t be faulted. Lovely views as well. Salt and chilli chicken as a starter was tasty, followed by a fish finger sandwich ( homemade ) served with a choice of soup, chips or salad.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Spinnaker in mid February. We were travelling with two well behaved chihuahuas and we all had a delightful stay despite the unsettled weather (the tail end of storm Dennis). The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was warm, spotless and generously sized with views of the Clyde. The bed was very comfortable and the dogs enjoyed their walks alog the water-front promenade. We were a little late arriving and checked in just as the kitchen was closing but the staff had saved us some lovely homemade lentil soup so we could have a light meal before retiring. We also ate at the hotel on the second night of our visit as the weather did not encourage exploring the town! Breakfasts were excellent and included a full Scottish which met my husband's high standard. I would highly recommend this hotel and would return.
