Right from making an initial enquiry, owner Jem was brilliant with communication and information about the villa.
When we arrived we were not disappointed. One of the original villas built (seeing an old pic of the villa on the wall) on this road, it is situated high up at the road end of Mount Montgo. So it is rustic but charming.
Inside, kitchen equipment is good - everything you need, though we didn't really cook, and there is an outside BBQ which we didn't use but quite useful to have. Plenty of inside and outside dining areas. Bedrooms comfy each having its own bathroom - fab! And two lounge areas - a bonus. House was lovely and clean when we arrived. But the best is the pool. Large and deep as well as very clean, it's one of the best pools we've had in 15 years of renting holiday homes.
Beach umbrellas and mats are available but no beach towels- we brought our own. Great selection of books - I read 5 and left two that I had brought with me. A few games and a TV with dvds but we didn't use this.
Villa location is great - at the end of the road on the mountain so a car is essential. Quick wiz down the mountain to supermarkets - large Carrefour, Lidl and Consum. Further along you come to the marina well worth visiting some of the great restaurants there surprisingly good and well priced.
Out of the villa turn right and you get to the trail for the mountain hikes - worth doing- fabulous views even if it was 29 degree heat when we did the hike!
Overall I can recommend and if we visit Spain again, would definitely book this villa again.
