Came for 2 nights to chill out with my husband after working a mad busy fiesta it was our first time in lorca and we loved the hotel all the staff were very attentive especially Ivan on the main bar . The room was lovely and the terrace was an added bonus we will definitely return when our business is quiet

Stopped for 1 night here so that could take in the sights of Lorca. On arrival, staff were pleasant and helpful. Spent the afternoon in the pool, which was small but still beautiful and very refreshing on such a hot day. Hotel WiFi was excellent with every guest given a personal password to access. Stayed in room 305 - a superior room with very large balcony, with terrific views of Lorca castle. The bathroom was amazing with white marble everywhere and an amazing bath. Bed was huge with luxury linen and was so comfortable and air conditioning very good and not to noisy. The hotel was very beautifully decorated and had a modern retro feel. Plenty of shady bar areas to take a drink. Breakfast was good - usual cereals, yoghurts and pastries and small selection of hot food - although I would suggest taking breakfast in Lorca at a fraction of the price and only a 5 minutes walk. Location is great - literally 5 minutes from old town with a small selection of tapas bars in the evening. The reason this hotel does not get 5 stars is because our patio doors onto the balcony did not lock (room 305) and as such left us feeling a little insecure in the room. With the roofline as it was we felt we were open to an intruder being able to access the room pretty easily, which made us feel very uncomfortable. We mentioned to reception and they stated that nothing could be done until 8am the following morning, which as we were only there for 1 night, was pretty useless to us! Also, we checked windows by the stairwell, which were also unlocked, leaving it very easy for someone to access the roof and to our room. With this being said we made sure that our valuables were left in the safe which was locked using the hotel door card and here next problem. Whilst packing up the following day, the safe would not open! We the. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come and reopen it. Not too much of a problem, but if you needed your items in a hurry or overnight, then it could have been. This hotel is lovely but really needs to get the balcony/patio doors sorted in room 305!

Room Tip: Check your balcony doors lock before accepting the room!
