What a pleasant lunch we enjoyed on our way from D.C. to Pittsburgh.
Frederick, Maryland is a wonderful town close to I 70, chock full of great restaurants and little shops.
We had always thought we'd stop to browse and this trip, we took the time. It was a great idea!
Isabella's offers al Fresca dining and a large menu of interesting and delightful tapas treats.
The lunchtime special is for three or four selections at very reasonable prices.
I had fresh peach sangria, which was so refreshing!
Our choices were sizzling shrimp, patatas bravas, fried goat cheese balls, the chorizo/beef meatballs, a wonderful pasta with cheeses and meatballs and a gourmet cinnamon/chocolate brownie with hazelnut ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries and a swirl of caramel!!!! To die for!!!!!
We had a very relaxing and satisfying lunch that was quite memorable!
Take the time to stop and enjoy this historic town and all it has to offer.
