“Home of the Frederick Keys!”

Harry Grove Stadium
Ranked #10 of 68 things to do in Frederick

Reviewed 16 August 2017

This stadium is the home to the Frederick Keys, a minor league baseball team that is the "Class A-Advanced" affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Many now famous players for the Baltimore Orioles have played here! Ticket prices are very reasonable and there isn't a bad seat in the stadium. It really is quite a nice baseball park. Many local establishments have concessions at the stadium, including the Flying Dog Brewery and Roasthouse Pub just to name a few. I've attended many games, both in boxes with business and in stadium seats as a regular fan, had catered food in the box and vendor food in the seats...it's all good. In fact, the Keys organization even allowed my baseball team to play special games there several years ago when I was coaching their teams. They hold special events (including concerts (I even saw a Bob Dylan concert there several years ago), and fireworks throughout the year! This is a great place to take a family as well as business related catered events. What else can I possible say...it's baseball!

Local baseball. Seats are inexpensive. Check website for promotions before you come. There are kids eat free nights, fire works etc. you can bring water bottles in to save money. You can sign up for the kids program. Bring the sheet in it gives you and you'll get a card for a free kids hotdog and a free game in kids zone. You will also get a free ticket for that kid for the next three times you come.

We absolutely LOVED our family time attending a baseball game here. AND the fireworks at the end were just amazing.....worth staying for the whole game for!! The folks on staff here were very pleasant and attentive to the customers. The food was good, although a bit pricey but normal pricey for a baseball game! AND we surely had a LOT of fun as a family.

Def sign your 12 year olds and younger up for the keys club. You get three free tickets for kids, a hot dog, and free zone game And other coupons. General admission is the way to go. You can see just as well and cheaper. You can also bring water into the stadium. Try to go on the fireworks night. Nice display.

Harry Grove stadium is a great small park to enjoy minor league baseball up close and personal. These MLB hopefuls play with heart! The Keys games include many promotional events, fireworks, interactive activities with the crowd, a carousel for the kids and a beer tent for adults. My husband and I recently enjoyed a nice evening out with a promo group from our neighborhood. We had great seats behind home plate, which were also perfect for the fireworks show afterwards. The only negative was the outrageous price for uncooked hotdogs on cold soggy buns. Really?? If you are going to charge major league prices for the food, please make it edible. The beer was grossly overpriced as well but at least its harder to mess up. While I dreamed of enjoying a hot dog at the stadium, we wish we had just had one at home before we arrived. Strongly recommend the baseball experience but not the food.
