Stayed with a party of classic car owners. Free parking, easy access, ideally placed to visit Sierra Nevada's white villages. Rooms with fabulous views with lovely balconies. Food and drinks all excellent. Highly recommended. A small family run hotel that ticks all of the right boxes. Will definitely return one day.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent

We had a 3 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely lunch on arrival - Caesar Salad and Chocolate Brownie - both highly recommended. Great views from the bar/terrace/restaurant to enjoy a gin and tonic and boy it’s a good one too! Superb spacious rooms, again with great views of the castle and sea. Fantastic walk in shower and large private terrace. Breakfast is small and buffet style but everything you would want is there and it’s high quality too. Eggs and bacon cooked to order with superb coffee (a rarity at breakfast)! Rooftop pool a bit blowy and cold for us but would be excellent in height of summer. Excellent friendly staff all round and Hotel Miba owners Eva and Martin particularly welcoming. Looking forward to going back soon!

The good reviews other guests gave this place are well deserved. It is really an outstanding hotel if you compare it to all the other places you find on the coast. There is not a lot I could add, just book it!

This private hotel is really a jewel. The decor is of the highest standard and is very tasteful and beautiful. We had the Queen Suite or room number 1. The room is huge with two large beds, a sofa, chairs and tables. There is also a large bathtub at one end where if you like you can relax with a glass of cava looking out of the floor to ceiling 180 degree view of the old town and castle, sea and beyond. Outside there is a large private sun terrace again with spectacular views. Everything at the Miba is of the highest quality. The shower room has twin wash basins, made of stone, a wet room type shower with a window for the view again.
Breakfast is delicious with a small high quaity buffet and freshly cooked extras to order . There is also a restaurant with a small but delicious menu.
The main thing here is the position though. Set high above and slightly ouside the town, hence the amazing views. You really need a car, the hotel has enough free parking, but the walk downhill into the town takes about 20 minutes and is easy.and there are taxis for the journey back.
You can lie in the enormous bed and look straight out of the floor to ceiling windows at the town, sea and surroundings, a bonus is that the castle is lit up at night so it's a 24 hour treat if you want. Can't give enough praise. Eva and Martin are the owners with their son Sebastian and they are always around for a chat or advice.
Dry cleaning and laundry facilities are available in the town and are very quick. There are lots of bars and some chiringuitos (beach bars) along the beach with great food.
The hotel is not suitable for children. It has a very sophisticated atmosphere.
The price is very reasonable for all the luxury you get.

Room Tip: All rooms have a fabulous view but room 1 is the largest.

We stayed in a very spacious room in this spectacular hotel. We had our own private terrace which had magnificent views of old Salobrena town and the bay. The owners and all their staff were most attentive, caring and helpful. The breakfast buffet and restaurant food were both excellent and varied. We would love to stay again!
