I would certainly not recommend this. The staff don’t speak English. Upon arrival we were just handed a keys with no even short into into the environment. We were never sure where is the meal (restaurant a la cart or buffe?). The dinner was late and slow and many times we were in position to complete everything meal at 23h ( way too late for children). Dinners in the restaurant were set in dark place (we could barley see what we were eating) and loud music and discotheque type lights. During the dinner/lunch it was not possible to obtain a glass of water unless bought. It’s not a question of expenses, but principle as we were not informed that we need to pay for drinks and for example given a menu/drink card.
The swimming pool was freezing and we got barley any swim.
During our stay the hotel hosted numerous pensioners excursions- real nightmare.
In the toalets around hotel there was no facility to dry your hands (other than wiping it off your clothes).

Expecting a "normal " hotel with one room/toilet etc., we were very happy and surprised to find ourselves placed by the tour operator in this luxury Suite Hotel. As will be seen from the photos, there are three styles of suite and ours was number 2 - two bedrooms, lounge/diner; kitchen/utility; bathroom, and balcony with table and chairs. All well appointed and clean.
The breahfast was buffet style ans normal and of good quality. Dinner similarly was Spanish buffet and included in our half board.
The only down point, which was not in my opinion worthy of lowering the score was the water pressure in the bathroom, which in our room needs seeing to.

Room Tip: A suite overlooking the gardens to the rea is best.

Went here on a week’s summer family vacation. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is a bit unusual being almost entirely whitewashed with white paint and cloaked in mirrors. In fact it was being freshly painted during our visit. It did seem very clean and well kept, but unlike anywhere we have ever stayed before. Our hotel suite was well equipped with living room, kitchen , bathroom and two bedrooms. There was a kettle, fridge, washing machine, microwave and hob but no oven. The breakfasts were just ok, with a fair selection of food. Nothing to write home about. The kids were happy with the churros!! The hotel pool area was lovely in fact it was the best bit. The bar was reasonably priced and service great. A short walk takes you into Almunecar town and to nearby supermarkets bars and restaurants and to the beach which is mostly covered large pebbles.
All in all we were happy in this accommodation, although it’s not the best 4 star we have ever stayed in.

Nice, bit worn out, too many stars....room fine... don't expect to get some sleep before 1.00 am...or any daytime rest... a very noisy outside area at the back of the hotel, bar and pool...a shame, could be a perfect chill place, but now it's like staying at a fair ground... Food not special, nice cleaning & the waiters/housekeeping, but cold receptionist ... WiFi ok at night, at daytime pretty slow... next time my old hangout in Almunecar.... hotel Casablanca...

Hotel was good, only minus comes from the food. Breakfast was mediocre (everything necessary was there) but dinner was below mediocre. We ate there only once though, but it wasn’t the quality that we expected, sadly.
Pool area and the big lounging area was perfect!
We had 3 bedroom suite and it was nice. But I must warn you- if you have kids or you are a bad sleeper, remember to demand a room that have windows to the pool, not to the street! Our room was in the 3rd floor to the street side and all the traffic noises and peoples talks were very loud, because there aren’t any seals in the windows.
