We had a large party for lunch, about 35 people. I had the jumbo lump crab cake. The crab cake was delicious, it was fried but mostly all crab meat. It was served over slaw. The crab cake was a little small for me & the slaw had little or no dressing on it. For $17 I would think I would get more. My wife had Rock shrimp salad. It was delicious, a very large portion of fried rock shrimp served over slaw. Fantastic. The service was good for a large group.

The setting is lovely. During warm months it's nice to stroll along the Chatahooche River.
The service is the old fashioned , serve from the left, remove from the right.
The food is delicious.
I had the smoked salmon appetizer and a dozen oysters.
Don't forget the popcorn sundae for dessert.

This restaurant has perhaps the best and most peaceful view in the city. It sits on the Chattahoochee river between Cobb and Fulton county. The food is excellent, service is personable and overall experience is fabulous. Don't be fooled if you pull up and it looks like you can't get in. Parking is a problem but there always seats. My wife and I eat here at least six times a year or more.

The restaurant is quite versatile, handling groups of all sizes with separate venues so that the intimate atmosphere on the several levels of dining is always maintained. This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta, and the spot where I run into the friends that I like best.

The food is consistently excellent from the salads to the desserts. It is far enough out of the city that it is not hard to get a late reservation, except for Sunday Brunch, of course, but it is close enough for the town folks. Valet parking is very attentive, but generally unnecessary.

Canoe is probably the one thing I miss most about moving to California to be with the offspring.

Extraordinary service, ambiance and food. Incredibly wonderful experience. The riverside beauty transitioning to evening lights at the outside bar makes it a great idea to show up a half hour or more early to walk the trails and the enjoy the friendly and beautiful bar setting. Then transition in to one of the best dining experiences in the country. Farm fresh foods turned in to exceptional masterpieces, served by a well informed, friendly staff. They also sport a wine list that's worth the trip by itself.
