The food is Subway - so you know what to expect when you go in to eat. The few times that I have been here, the service has been lacking... the people behind the counters act like they don't want to be there and that they are put out when you are ordering. They could definitely work on their customer service at this location!

After my complaint, the manager of the store (Jesse) offered a full refund of the $1.50 all been charged for cups ("inventory purposes") and offered a 15% on our next sub. She explained that there had been a confusion about the "store policy" re: drinking water and that cups can be provided (these are not take out cups as they do not have lids). I feel more interested in going back to Subway but still hesitate as if they are so stingy on "water and cups" then perhaps they might skimp on other things in terms of food prep and quality of food. It only makes good business sense to give out basically "free water" to people spending around $10 or more in your store given all the competition from other fast food restaurants. Subway also does not have a drive thru as they make their business on individualizing the food for you. I think if they had a basic version of each sub sandwich and/or salad with slight variation available (condiment and cheese only) that because of the "more healthful nature" of this food that Subway could trifold its money intake with a drive thru. Alas though, the "chopped salad" is to be avoided or if you order salad, then insist that they do NOT chop (or pulverize) it. Still haven't been able to go into one since having that menu item due to nausea when I think about it. Overall however, the manager is to be commended at this store for making amends re: the overcharge on tap water and offering to "make it right" with the customer. Not all restaurants/stores do.

The new Subway chopped salad is pulverized and appears like regurgitated food. Chopping up lettuce is never a good idea generally. The layered version was so carefully done and such a good value compared to any fast food operation that we frequented Subway often. The store in London, Ontario (Wonderland at Commissioners Road) manager was rude. We were charged $1.50 each for the cups for "inventory" purposes when asking for plain water. What's the mark up on soda/pop? 5 billion percent? I suppose some people abuse this but a max of 50cents for a cup alone is more than reasonable. The manager (well she acted like it > a portly young lady with glasses I believe) was rude as she sternly explained the independently owned franchise "rules" as we had these inquiries. There are issues with cleanliness at this store and I highly not advise eating there and have asked the company if they will deal with this issue and store in general or if I should be talking to the board of health? The other Subways in London are far more pleasant an experience but the chopped salad needs to go and that is mainly what I live on so I would have a pretty good idea of what was deemed edible or tolerable as a salad.

The menu board advertised a chop salad based on the ingredients for one of 3 subs. The people working that day did not know how to make this kind of salad and it ended up being too much lettuce and very little meat.
