Taco Cowboy replaced noche. I ordered the shrimp taco and lobster. Very good and I would go back here. The frozen rosé was yummy!

Tom Catherall's Taco Cowboy is located in the Virginia Highlands area.
The menu is essentially the same as the old "Noche" concept of Tom's
I generally don't have a high opinion of food quality in taspas restaurants but this is a shining exception. Every item on this menu is excellent quality, well prepared and the service is excellent as well. You can't go wrong with this restaurant.

Tucked into a corner at Virginia & Highland Avenues, Taco Cowboy offers an extensive selection of appetizers, salads, (protien add-ons available) tacos, tapas, Happy Hour & daily specials, served up with a full bar, fine wines, boutique cocktails or beers, beyond the usual tex-mex experience.
Think Southern Global Fusion.

House Specialty: Whole Sizzling Catfish $20.

Some selections...

Grilled Octopus $12. Roasted Cauliflower with garlic, herbs & cheese $10. Fried lobster tail with honey mustard, clarified butter $15. Lobster Taco $9.

Flakey Jamacian Beef Empanada Pastry on Cliantro Lime Aioli, $5 was generous, delicious, & savory.

Plump, juicy, stuffed dumplings $5.

Watermelon Salad served with moist Feta Cheese and Crispy Prosciutto curls with balsamic drizzle, was refreshing $9.

Several $5 dessert selections.
Key Lime Pie arrived creamy, & dreamy, with real whipped cream, fresh strawberry & mint sprig garnish.

Coca-Cola products.

Indoor tablecloth, Bar & Patio seating.

Half Price Tacos on Tuesdays (WOW that's about $2.50 each!)

Early Bird Happy Hour Specials before 6pm.

Live entertainment

Metered street parking, Valet & Rear of building parking.

Very friendly, courteous service.
Take away handled with care & always a temptation for snacking or cocktail party appetizers.
