“Delicious cod and chips”
Review of Cod Almighty - CLOSED

Cod Almighty
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$7 - US$16
Description: Cod Almighty is a Traditional English Fish and Chip shop which is the creation of Josephine Agius and Chris Mangan partners in and away from the business. Both are very passionate about Cod Almighty and insist on providing nothing but the best quality traditional food, sourced from both the UK and Malta regardless of extra cost or effort, our chips are cut fresh from local potatoes on site and our Cod is frozen at sea and imported into Malta. A lot of time and effort has gone into developing our first shop in Bugibba, and although we feel this has been achieved, we have lots of other exciting avenues to build on like 'Saucy Chips' our very own Chip cones that are supplied with a choice of mouth watering dips. Why not come along say hello and give our food a try, we are sure you wont be dissapointed. Hopefully see you soon. Chris & Josephine.

The fish was so delicious!!! YUMMY! and the fries cut from local potatoes delivered to the restaurant by Maltese farmers. It was one of our best meals during our vacation....just one suggestion would be to have the option of making the fish into bite sized chunks since there's no tables and we ate on the go. It's great if you want to take it straight back to your hotel, but if not cod Fish Nuggets would have been easier to eat for the tourist on the go. Highly recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, it’s greatly appreciated. If you would have asked for the fish to be cut we would have done so for you, you wouldn't believe some of the requests we get :) we are weeks away from getting our restaurant, so if you ever come back, this time you will be able to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Visited here on recommendations from tripadvisor and can only agree with everything already said.
Cooked freshly when ordered. Beautiful flaky, white cod with crispy, light, melt in the mouth batter.
As recommended ,we walked to watch the sunset from the benches, and the food was piping hot. My husband had the normal size and I had the half size, but neither of us could finish the chips as there were so many (but delicious).
The best fish and chips we have had for ages.
Recommended!
