If you love horses and appreciate their individual personalities and gifts, La Fiaba is the place to go for a lovely ride in the Tuscan Hills. Sharon matches horse and rider with thoughtful care to enable an enjoyable short-term relationship for both. I appreciated the chance to groom the fellow who would carry me for the next 3 hours. The scenery was peaceful, picturesque and quintessentially Tuscan. Sharon’s company was rewarding and reassuring. The afternoon will remain as one of the most pleasantly memorable in our trip to Italy. Thank you Sharon and Pancho.

It's easy to drive by the stable if you don't have good directions but once you are there, it is worth it. Sharon matches riders up with horses suitable for them. It is a great way to see the Tuscan countryside. Well worth it. It is a good idea to contact them ahead of time as the could be fully booked up.

Thank you to Sharon and Lorenzo for their hospitality, we had a great time exploring the Tuscan countryside and would love to have spent longer in a beautiful part of Italy. A unique experience highly recommended.

My teenage son and I spent three days here in August 2014, to do 3hr rides each day, and enjoyed every single minute.

Sharon was an outstanding hostess and leader.

On our first day, and after introducing us to our horses, we had a quick lesson in the school to get used to them before we went off across amazing countryside for a beautiful scenic hack.

Our second day was a much tougher ride, going up steep stony paths, and through dense forests, to an amazing mountain top view of the entire area. An absolutely shattering but stunning experience.

Our third day, we were taken again through forests and across fields, to a stunning derelict village.

The horses are so well behaved and easy to handle. Sharon and Lorenzo look after them so well.

You will see parts of the area you would never get the opportunity to see otherwise. And the views are just astounding.

We would highly recommend booking with La Fiaba, and we will definitely be going back.

I'd ridden regularly years ago, and this was the perfect place to rediscover horses and riding and Tuscany! During and after each ride, my face would hurt from smiling—such a joyful experience. Sharon and Lorenzo treat their horses and guests so well, and the trails are gorgeous. I had the chance to ride three of their horses, all of whom were spirited, well-mannered, and great to ride and hang out with, over the course of a three-day weekend. It was lovely getting to know the stable, and share meals after a long ride!
