Must see just to stand on the land that Jefferson, Patrick Henry, etc. stood on.
I did not take the tour as the church has changed so much there is not much of the original left but do ask the people in the gift shop. They are very friendly and will point out the original building.

We moved to the Richmond area several years ago and go to St. John's every reinactment of the 2nd VA convention on Sunday's during the summer. Definitely worth the visit.

I have been to two reenactments of the historic colonial era meeting. I am sure to go again. Arrive early because the line may be long. The acting is outstanding and you can mingle with the 'stars' after the performance. It is very exciting to see history come alive.

Nice little gift shop and the simple old church itself. Many old graves in the church yard. The history is thick here.
