Travelled end of May 2016 and very little open apparently season doesn't start until 15 June so no taxis or public transport resort very very quiet . Accommodation in residential area very quiet however interior was very comfortable and everything you need. We were a party of 2adts 1 child (8) and I would say it was just big enough for 3 or 2adults and 2very small children . Accommodation has use of pool however this is not open all day in fact closes between 1 and 3 and has no sun beds only deck chairs also no facilities which was abit of a let down . Small beach about 10 mins walk and Ira beach about 20 mins walk Supermarket 5 mins from apartment . Harbour about 10-15 mins so accommodation is within walking distance to majority of places. Wrong accommodation for us but suitable for others who just want a apartment with no facilities so couldn't really recommend it

This apartment was perfect four our stay in Porto Rotondo. I expected to find a bigger place, based on the pictures published by the owner, especially the dinning room with the sofa where our children had to sleep. However it was big enough for us: a couple and two children. The decoration is lovely and it is fully well equipped.

The apartment was ideally situated, a short 20 minute journey from the airport. Luigi, the friendly owner, helped us to organise our airport transfers and even dropped us off at the airport on our departure!
Everything in the apartment was spotlessly clean with quirky decor and both the pool area and supermarket were a 2 minute walk around the corner. Porto Rotondo itself is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment and there you will find the most beautiful harbour, shops and restaurants.
We really can't recommend Porto Rotondo and this apartment enough - we had the most amazing stay and we'll definitely be visiting again. If you're lucky enough to visit this place, make sure you visit the charming islands of La Maddalena for an unforgettable experience!
