Love this place, as well as the other Tattes... all the same excellent quality. Just stopped by for my recent favorite...the almond croissant... and a couple of fruit tarts to take home... they are all great and perfect for bringing to a friend's dinner party when you need a dessert.

When you read the chalkboard descriptions, everything sounds very good. But the fact is that we had three different sandwiches and though all were chock full of impressive ingredients, none tasted very good.

The PC refusal to serve soda is annoying, when the alternative they do offer is pretentious Pellegrino frizzante.

Such a great place. Salads are delightful. I had a sabich salad, my friend had Chalumi(fried cheese). Both wonderful.
With my Coffee I had a small baked base with mixed nuts on it. Very very original and so yummy.
Full of people. Harvard uni is near so many students. Waiters are young and friendly.
I learnt now that there are FIVE tatte in Boston. And Cambridge.
All israeli chef started and now purchased by Panera.

Have a break in Tatte (grandma in Hebrew by babies language).
I recommend it with all my heart.

Beautiful selection of delicious and unique pastries! Excellent savory dishes. The latte I had was excellent. Prices are certainly not low, haha, and the setting is chaotic - you have to hover around to get a table, lots of tables are taken for long periods with people slowly sipping their coffee, not eating, while working on their laptops. The interior design is quite nice, love the huge custom 'chandelier' in the center of the room. You stand in line to place your order, are given a number for your food so the food runner can find your table (if you actually are able to secure a table) but if you've ordered a specialty coffee, you also give your name and you wait in the coffee line for that to be ready - separate from having the number for your food. So, not exactly relaxing, but good quality!
