Nice restaurant with nice people working there. The atmosphere was very relaxed and they had tables out with board games. We got some hamburgers, which were good and they had 4 types of soup on. We tried a couple different kinds and they were good as well. Overall, a good spot to stop for lunch.

Thank John S

Stopped in for a late lunch after visiting nearby waterfalls. Soup and bread was delicious and pricing was reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant for a good lunch while out and about.

This is a must lunch stop on the way to or from Húsafell from the south. Friendly, cosy, with three or more fantastic homemade soups and other café fare. Also draft beer!

The soup is all you can eat for 1,700 k. With unlimited excellent bread and rolls. Also homegrown fresh greenhouse veggies (gorgeous) available to buy.

Lovely family owned spot. Ask about the owner’s skiing adventures...

Thank John C

Great little spot run by a brother and sister team. Had the "Fish Stew" which was more like a fish hash with homemade brown bread. Wonderful! Attentive service and ready to recommend things to do in the area. One of the best meals we had during our stay.

My boyfriend and I camped here on our second last night in Iceland and I was positive it was going to be the worst one we stayed at, just because it didn't have an indoor common area or a kitchen like other campsites. The only option was there enclosed Hobbit House which worked and was warm but not ideal for what we wanted.

It turned out being a great experience though! We made dinner outside and ate in our campervan (it was more cute than sad haha) then enjoyed a beer in the restaurant which is adorable and played cards.

A different camping experience but I'm really happy we went! Hot showers (maybe not the cleanest) to boot! :)
