Nice enough hotel but poorly managed- had to finally call to get a reply to an email I sent weeks earlier. The check- in process was SO specific- only certain times and a $50 fee for a late check in. When we arrived (within the hours stated) there was no one there- luckily I had paid for cell phone coverage and could call the guy, who was 10 minutes away. Then, when he arrived, he checked in a couple who arrived after us! The room itself was very small but clean. It was about $200 a night- should have better service we thought.

It was great to have the opportunity to cook a meal, enjoy some television, do some clothes washing and have a comfortable, restful sleep in a warm abode. What more can I say?
P.S. A larger TV would be more appropriate given the couch position.

We had a double room with private bath, which was Room 101 right next to the café which was a pretty small room with a huge bathroom. There was not a ton of room for two people’s things, but given it was a short stay, it was fine. The room was nicely decorated, very bright and cheery.

The biggest complaint was the Sulfur smelling water. It was really stinky and brushing your teeth and showering was very off-putting. Not drinkable.

Surprisingly breakfast was not included but you’re paying close to USD $200 a night. Every other place we stayed in this price range included breakfast.

This was just a quick overnight stay, and mainly chosen for location and ease of car parking. For arriving after-hours, there was a key box and code which was not difficult to manage. The email correspondence was responsive and helpful.

Price is reasonable for what you get. It's slightly old and the rooms could be bigger - especially upstairs. Location was alright and was easy enough to find. Parking was convenient, on the street right outside. Overall ok for one night. Would give it 3.5

Very good place for a short stay when visiting Iceland. Borgarnes is well situation, close to the ring road, not very far from Snaefells peninsula. The apartment is modern, well furnished, clean and in a quiet area.
