Sort of hotel you would pay 500 pounds for the week and feel like it was worth it but when you pay 7-8 hundred you expect abit more.

First, the food is ‘ok’, basic and repetitive night after night. The fruit consists of melon, kiwi and sliced orange EVERY night and the puddings are the same EVERY night. The restaurant that you get one night at in the week is a joke: it’s basically the food from the buffet the night before and the drinks are the same as the normal bar. Even when we landed and got off the coach at the hotel we were greeted at reception and then sat down infront of a chicken dinner which we hadn’t even been asked if we wanted and it ended up going in the bin becuase two of us didn’t eat meat. The buffet is pretty chaotic most nights in all honesty, for a hotel that size it needs to be bigger becuase people are queuing and the place is rammed.

Secondly, the staff are not very friendly and rarely smile. I did notice they all work long hours and I respect and appreciate that but they do make you feel like they just don’t want to be there and want to go home. The animation team are the only ones that were very friendly.

Lastly, the spa prices are ridiculous (most around 100-200 euros). You have to pay to use the suana and steam room and in the gym you have to be silent and can’t talk becuase the treatment room is directly above. So take your headphones!

Dear sir/madam,

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, I can only say how disappointed we are that you didn’t feel we met your holiday expectations.
However, we would like to point out that your comments appear exaggerated and unfair.
We offer a wide a varied selection of dishes in the main restaurant and every evening, the menu follows a different theme, i.e. Seafood, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Cretan, German and Indian.
This is also the case for our fruit and dessert selection. We also have a quieter area for our guests to dine without children and is available upon request.
We take our La Trattoria Italian Restaurant very seriously and it is a popular and highly regarded dinner venue, with an entirely separate menu to our main restaurant, we offer amongst other dishes, freshly cooked pizzas and pasta alongside vegetarian options and as with all our restaurants we use only high quality ingredients, again your comments regarding our food are highly exaggerated and misleading.
Our staff, in all departments work tirelessly to maintain a happy and friendly attitude towards all our guests, some of them have worked with us for many years and staff ratios and training is paramount. It is most upsetting for all of us to read your detrimental unfair and untrue comments.
Finally, your comments about the spa and gym are extremely unjustified and as you may be not be aware the high quality and our full range of luxurious treatments and products are specially designed to relax, restore and enhance the body, inspired by the beautiful island of Crete are very reasonably priced and include special offers.
Using a spa and gym anywhere in the world should be a relaxing and exhilarating experience and there are plenty of other places in the resort for socializing, it is not necessary to be loud in these places mainly out of respect for the other guests.

We are a customer centric hotel and our top priority is guest satisfaction; our target is to have only satisfied guests and we encourage everyone to inform us of any issues during their stay to allow us to resolve them in order for guests to fully enjoy their holiday with us.
We are sorry that you did not feel able to share your issues with us during your stay or to give us the opportunity to resolve them for you.

Hi Nikos

Myself and my family have just returned from our 2 week break at the sentido vasia hotel and loved every minute of our holiday. I had spoken with Nikos through email a few times on the lead up to our holiday and we were all thrilled when we arrived to a complimentary upgraded room.This suite room 1629 was fantastic the views amazing and was the making of our holiday.

On our first day of our holiday we were very fortunate to have met with one of the waitresses we got friendly with the last time we visited. Emmanouela Soladaki recognised us straight away and was so welcoming and friendly especially to my children. In the main restaurant Anna Hatzaki very friendly welcoming and could not do enough for us. In the Italian restaurant/blue bar Nikos ( young tall slim guy) very nice and helpful !! . Id also like to mention Alison ( guest relations ) very very kind welcoming chatty lady whom i found very easy to chat with and ask questions. The staff in the hotel really contribute to making the holiday so enjoyable. The reception staff also fantastic !!!.

Lastly i feel i have to mention the entertainment this time was brilliant. Since returning i have not only recommend the hotel to friends but also work colleagues. The circus show was amazing the best show ive ever seen in a long time. We would love to return again and i think this time try booking directly through the hotel itself.

Best holiday we have ever had !!!!!!!..

Hotel clean, spacious and near the sea. Pool areas were busy but service in bars and restaurants never a problem.
We were upgraded to a maisonette with a pool which was lovely, however extremely rickety spiral staircase down to extra bed and pool which was a a bit of a worry ... I spent the whole week telling my children to be careful!!
We didn’t really make use of the all inclusive and only ate a couple of lunches in the main restaurant as we like to eat out, and although the food was fine and quite varied I would have got bored eating there every meal. We did have one evening in the hotels Italian restaurant and it was the worst meal we had all week... not the best and not particularly Italian.
We ate in some of the lovely restaurants in the village and next time we come to sissi we will find somewhere with just B&B. If you are an AI fan this hotel is for you, although we had a nice time it was unfortunately not for us.

what Can I say about this amazing hotel. nothing as you can’t fault it or the staff you come away to relax,and the vasia is one of them hotels were you can you can forget about everything the room was cleaned daily the waiting staff are amazing I don’t know how they can work long hours in that heat but they do and still smile reception staff all but the English were very polite we had a massive 8 hr delay but the staff greeted us with a smile and hot food two yrs we have stayed here and booked again for next June do we get up graded

super hotel, very friendly personnel, dining next to the swimming pool, several swimming pools, always drinks available in the all-in formula - some rooms are with jacuzzi and small private pool - nice à la carte restaurants (make reservation on time) - no heated pool water so a little bit to cold early April - animation is okay - plenty of space and chairs around the pool - hotel next to the sea (no sand beach but rocks)
