Whoever took pictures of this hotel for their website should be given an award. The website shows the best side of this hotel. We booked the room based off of the pictures. Boy were we fooled!!! We choose the "Log Cabin" and this was nothing more than a couple walls with a log cabin feel/facade.
The bed was lumpy and the pullout bed was atrocious! My daughter cold barely sleep on it.
The electrical outlets were coming off the walls
The outdoor "security" was nonexistent. Anyone could walkin without a key card.
The sauna in the pool area did not work.
All this for $189/night!! I suggest staying somewhere else closer to the downtown area. Much nicer area.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else!

RegencyLodge, Director of Sales at Regency Lodge, responded to this reviewResponded 15 May 2015

Well a1r23.. thank you for the compliment as I directed the new sales collateral and give direction for our online presence. You know what they say, a picture says 1000 words. It is what it is. Regency Lodge is a beautiful venue, from the time that you pull up to the hotel, you are engulfed in a serene environment. We are truly a hidden gem, rustic and elegance is what will greet you once you open our doors. We have the knowledge and experience to provide the perfect environment for your future!

While our property is a 40 year hotel, our excellent Maintenance & Housekeeping department work together to properly inspect the rooms and improve what's needed immediately. We're a high volume hotel and our Log Cabin Suites are almost always booked. Therefore we work hard to stay on top of the upkeep since a number of guest socialize and entertain in them.

I'd like to invite you back to our hotel, I know you will be pleasantly surprised by the NEW sofa sleepers, couches & flat screen televisions. We've recently made a change and our NEW Chief Engineer, Andy & his NEW Maintenance team, IS AMAZING!

Please personally email or call me with a date you'd like to stay and we will knock your socks off!

Travel safe in the meantime!

In Omaha for a softball tournament. Stayed here for 2 nights. The breakfast buffet started at 6 am and had a good selection. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room was right by an entrance, so we heard the door banging for hours. The room had not been vacuumed prior to our stay as the floor was clearly dirty and there were even bobby pins on the floor. Otherwise, the room was clean. The hotel also ran out of towels for the pool and we were told there was nothing they could do.

Room was very nice. Clean, roomy, and very quiet. Very convenient to interstate. Check-in was very fast and staff very pleasant. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom very clean and really liked fact that sink was separate from toilet and shower. Would definitely stay again.

My bf and I just wanted a night to ourselves. We stayed in the Whirlpool Suite and we loved it! the room was big and spacious, and very clean. The beds were ok, a little rough, but nothing major that would keep me from staying here again. The staff was ok, but not the greatest. I work at a hotel as front desk, and I just felt like their customer service skills weren't up to par with what a hotel staff should look like. They were on their phones in front of me, and other guests right at the front desk. I understand that it gets a little boring at the front desk, but using your cell phone right in front of guests is just not an ok thing to do. Besides all of this. The hotel is beautiful from the moment you walk in. Love the setup of the whole hotel.

We wanted to get out of town for a night so we chose the Regency Lodge. Great place to stay. Front entrance is beautiful. We chose a king size bed and just enough for 2 adults. The room we stayed in had a little sitting area, little kitchen area with a microwave and fridge. The bathroom even had a make-up mirror, no place ever has that. We were at the end of the hall and never did hear another person. The staff was very nice, parking was nice and the breakfast was great. We will for sure be staying here again.
