Our last evening in Isle with our friends. A great meal, lovely wine and outstanding service. We had pasta, fish and steak main meals and all were outstanding. A great evening, we would definately come back.

Great location and great reviews lured us here. However when the meal arrived both our dinners were tepid to say the least. My fish of the day seemed over cooked but cool despite this. When we noted at meals end that the food was not hot that was "our choice" for not requesting the waiter send it back to be reheated. I don't expect food at this price to come out cold in the first place. We were offered a complimentary coffee by way of compensation.

The meal was spoiled further for me by the arrival of a violin and guitar duo who spent 20 minutes playing before passing the hat.

Based on a wander along the riverfront, this looked the best place to go.

We went on a sunny June day and it was half full, all french apart from ourselves. Good fish soup, great fries with the steak.

Hard to fault.

We visited on a beautiful sunny day, we did not have a reservation and the restaurant was busy. They gave us the last table on the terrace by the door, it was okay, we could see the river.
The waiters were friendly and helpful, we ordered our food and wine. We were delighted when a waterside table became available and Christophe moved us over to it.
We enjoyed the fish of the day and a steak tartar Asian style, both meals were very good. Then the desert came.....a tart tartine and the caramel ice cream, the tart was good but the ice cream was sensational. Beautifully presented and a huge serve.
We thoroughly enjoyed this place, Christophe and his team do a great job, they are very personable and happy! They provide a great atmosphere. Thanks Christophe for a beautiful meal and a great day. Sadly we can’t get back this trip but we have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to others.
