Went on a market day. Luckily we made reservation as the restaurant got filled up pretty quickly.
Sunday market day is very crowded and was very hot when we were there. We managed to see quite a bit of the market walking to the restaurant. As it was market day, there was no seating by the river for lunch,
We actually welcomed having lunch away from the heat. The servers were all young and vibrant, not something we expected. Good food, good ingredients and good wine. The set lunch was priced reasonably.
When we finished our lunch at a leisurely pace, we walked out to see that most of the stalls have been packed and got to experience a different L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
