The menu was fixed and it was all fish which I liked. The amuse bouche was salmon on a bed of green sauce which was nice and appetizing. Then came the starter which was scallop with lobster bisque and it was nicely seasoned and wonderful overall. The main was a fillet of catfish with a side of peas , mushrooms and aubergine sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sides were tasty . The dessert was a berry sorbet tart which is refreshing and extremely satisfies your sweet tooth. Food came out quick and staff were friendly. The restaurant is set in a nice and relaxing setting. Amazing restaurant!

The Jardin du quai is set in a very pleasant shady garden complete with a fountain and trickling water.
In spite of what we read about the terrible service, we have no complaints about the young man who served us. Cheerful and energetic, he spoke enough english to advise us.
On his suggestion we had a carpaccio of octopus for a starter. It was quite tasty but
unfortunately the cook left 5- 6 little pieces of the creature’s beak in the dish. They were very hard and sharp and could have caused some damage if swallowed.....
Apart from a brief comment about informing the kitchen, this didn’t seem to alarm anyone.
The rest of the meal was average.

at worst why do you don t speak with the guy,
why you don't try to find a solution, with this guy
and why you write a wrong commentary about my restaurant when you eat in à another place
look at your bilt, and share it
i m nostalgic about people was speaking directly
poor world, poor people

Lovely spot for a lunch away from the market day hordes by the river. Shady respite between les antiquaires. Good luncheon menu with nothing too heavy, Provençal focus. Indoor restaurant looks inviting as well. Seems very popular with the locals. Tables are all numbered and you pay inside by your number. Quirky, old garden furniture covered by wisteria and other vines with statues and fountains. Enter via the Le Jardin de la Gare entry or through the restaurant Quai doors.

Extraordinary place- the chef makes just one menu and everyone eats it. We had two starters that were amazing and then the most wonderful lamb finishing with an amazing Pana cotta. But each day is different depending on what is in season or what the chef wanted to create. Highly recommended! The service was terrific- my husband even hugged the chef!
