It was sheer chance that we were staying at Le Dagobert and didn't realise we were staying at a Hotel with a very high standard restaurant.
Lucy was not feeling well so we visited the Phamacy adjacent to the hotel. It was there that the Pharmacist alerted us to the fact that the owner of Le Dagobert is a very high class Saucier Chef and if we did nothing else we should take at least one meal there, during our three night stay.
We were not disappointed.
The restaurant whilst not busy, was well subscribed to by locals and the menu was varied enough to satisfy all our palates.
The standard of all the meals we had was very high and all four of us decided that the only description we could offer was "delicious". We all liked it that much, we ate there twice !
The service was impeccable and in keeping with the traditional feel of the Hotel. We did not feel hurried or pressured to leave once we had finished our meals.
I would happily return to Le Dagobert to try something else from the menu.
