“Kid-friendly breakfast stop in the Market”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2012

We love stopping by this breakfast spot anytime we are downtown near the market. Jam crumpets are great or you can go for the more exotic, like honey, walnut ricotta. Grab a loose leaf tea or coffee and you are good to go. If you are looking for more protein they have egg topped options and some darn good steel cut oatmeal.

“Wonderful little place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2012

I love this place, doesn't look like much from the outside.
So tasty!
However, they do run out of things, so the earlier you get there the better.
Everything is so fresh and delicous.

“If you like a bit of crumpet stop by”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2012

Refreshing to see somewhere not all about bagels or donuts. Enjoyed a couple of savory crumpets. The place is small and crowded but worth stopping in for a snack

“Delicious comfort food, exciting every time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2012

I go here often, and it's one of my top-recommended foodie destinations to both locals and visitors alike. The staff is super nice, the food is always great, a very extensive menu will allow you to try many new things on subsequent visits, and it always feels so exciting to come here, even on the 100th visit. They offer sweet and savory crumpets (my personal fave has cheddar cheese, pesto, and sliced tomato on top), delicious sandwiches on home-baked bread, and fluffy scones. They also serve excellent brewed coffee (comes with one free refill) and mochas. The only negatives are that you may find yourself waiting in a long line (it's a very popular place, after all), and it's sometimes difficult to secure seating. It's best to go with two people, so that while you're in line ordering and paying, the other person can hover near the tables so that the second people get up and leave he/she can race over to stake claim on the valuable real estate. I wish they could expand their space, to accomodate a higher number of patrons.

“Melt in your mouth!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 March 2012

After miles of walking, we just needed to sit somewhere and recharge. We stopped into the crumpet shop and had the best crumpet I have ever had. Seriously delicious, I wish I had one now! It was the perfect place to grab a few quiet minutes and I would definitely recommend.
