This is a family business. The dad cooks the food and the two daughters take turns waiting on tables. The place is covered with memorabilia, photos of the family, posters, lunch boxes, stuffed animals, cups and anything else that will fit. It is a real funky place.

The poached eggs and toast were good, but nothing special. The only real negative I see is that the coffee is rank. I even stopped at Starbucks our second day, so that I could enjoy my coffee. Other than that, breakfast was good.

It's like being in someone's dirty living room. The food is ok but a bit greasy. Service spotty. Good hash browns.

Don't let the reviews filled with awe at all the knick-knacks on every surface dissuade you from visiting. This is a fine little breakfast spot-visited on a Sunday morning at 9:30 and got a table without waiting. By 10:00 it was full with a few people waiting. We had 1) Eggs Benedict-very good 2) Country Benedict-gravy was good but not great and 3) Corned Beef Hash and Eggs-not 'the best hash I've ever had' as mentioned elsewhere, but decent and flavorful. Friendly and fast service.

Formica tables, kewpie dolls in a keepsake cabinet, family pix on the wall. Yummy omelettes with fresh veggie ingredients, generous portions, and very friendly staff. Always a coffee pot coming around.

Small sorta greasy spoon, but tasty typical breakfast menu with fresh brewed coffee. Family owned. Conveniently located on Lake City Way in north Seattle. Quite reasonable prices.
