Slow cooked marinated pork, so tender it falls apart, on a fresh baguette with onions, mayo (or is it aioli?) and romaine, with jalapeños. Wow! Be aware - this is one messy sandwich!
This is a tiny joint, with long lines much of the time. Sometimes you can get a place to sit inside, more often you can get a place to sit outside at a communal picnic table - but don't be deterred, this is worth a special trip.
Yes, they have lots of other things on the menu, but the Caribbean Roast sandwich is the featured item most people are waiting for. Don't confuse it with "grilled pork" which is more like a cube-steak and not the same thing at all (and not worth it).
