Nice hotel that was close to major attractions. Getting around to different spots was easy as most things to do were in walking distance. The hotel it’s self is very clean and well kept. Didn’t make it up the the bar/restaurant, Frolic, but friends that did commented on how nice it was.

Resort fees at a hotel are a joke. 20% hotel service fee at the restaurant when you dine there. I am not talking about room service, actually dining at the restaurant or drinking at the bar is a 20% extra charge.

We have stayed at the Motif earlier in the year and it was a great experience. Great location in downtown Seattle. This last weekend was less than desirable. The bed was very uncomfortable, and it was a double, not a queen which we had reserved. it was very noisy throughout the entire night. Must have been several parties in the hotel.

This place was reserved through Hotwire and we were very happy with the location in downtown Seattle. Every place we needed to go was walkable. We attended a symphony and play without needing transportation. The room had nice amenities with a good bed, a decent view (of nearby buildings), and a modern sharp look. We would definitely stay here again if it's within our price range. It gave us a great weekend trip in Seattle during the Christmas season.

We arrived at the hotel before noon and the staff was happy to accommodate our early arrival and assigned us rooms.
The rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. The large screen TV offered a wide viewing selection and the bathroom was amazing with great flow of hot water whenever you needed.KSKDOW
But most importantly, the location is in the heart of the action of the city with everything a visitor wants located within a walking distance and public transportation just a block away.
The staff was friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome all the time.
What a great choice we made, staying at the Motif was worthy of every penny and more.
