Delightful, romantic, attention to personal care for guests. Perfect way to continue celebrating a birthday at the Highway 99 Blues Club. Fireplace, room service and beverages - cozy evening in stormy Seattle last night. Request room 401, and enjoy also the on room library of interesting books, couple's shower, modern 4 post bed with high 4-side high rails, strong enough for energetic playfulness. Otherwise, peace and quiet.

Hello Franklin
Thanks for the great note, this hotel has 17 different room styles and several named suites. - the Authors Suite is very special and if you are at all into the literary world you have to give this room a try! The hotel has a 'book' theme, which makes a trip to the Bookstore Bar, even more of an event - great food, largest collection of Scotch in the city and reading material to curl up with on one of the 300 days when it rains here!

LOVED everything about this stay at the Alexis! Our room was beautiful. The old large windows were still there but with a new layer glass for sound proofing from the street! A short 2 block walk down to the piers with food and ferry boats around the sound. We happened to check in during a free lobby happy hour wine service! BONUS! Had a mini fridge that wasn't loud (refreshing!), robes, internet, tv/cable, plenty of storage space and very helpful staff. I even saw a valet pump up a bike tire for a guest! About a one mile, and mostly flat (seriously!) walk to Safeco and Seahawks. We uber'd up to the Chihuly museum at the Space Needle Center then walked and shopped our way back down to the hotel. We may make this an annual trip. THANK YOU!

Room Tip: We were on 2nd floor by elevators yet couldn't hear noises. All area was great.

Thanks Aron, I suggest you plan your arrival at any Kimpton hotel for about 5 pm in the afternoon as you will always find a smile and a glass of wine or better. I don't know about the flat walk but our location.is one of the great assets of the hotel, you can always walk to the market, Westlake or Pioneer Square and come back to a cocktail in the Bookstore or just a great smile at the front desk.

First of all, you can bring your dogs to this boutique hotel which I think is awesome! Secondly, it is so cute, nicely decorated, centrally located, friendly staff and very clean and nice. Would definitely stay there again!

Service was great from phone call, to front desk, to housekeeping, to bell desk, to check out. Location is prime to get to the ferry and Pike. A quick Lyft or Uber ride will take you anywhere else. It is fairly close to the light rail line too.

Thanks hkwonton, appreciate your note. the location of this hotel like all 4 of the Kimptons in Seattle is one of the great secrets. We are only minutes from the Market, Westlake or Pioneer Square and the Stadiums. Add that into a great hotel and then there is the Bookstore Bar for the cities largest selection of whiskies - what else could you want! Come back soon.
Tom.

I've stayed at several different hotels in Seattle (Westin, Hyatt, etc), but found the Kimpton Alexis to be a nice surprise. From its historical feel, quiet rooms, great location, to the wonderful service... from the valets, concierge, front desk staff, and the kind person who cleaned my room. Had a great stay!
