Enjoyed a two night stay after a cruise. Large room with 2 queen sized bedsin the newer section. Historic section has shared baths, different was not interested in that. Cute restaurant with good breakfasts. Didn't have dinner, but had late night drinks there.

We had a 2 queen room for 2 nights. We were near elevator (room 321) and people next to us blared TV until 11pm, then loaded up luggage at 5am. I would ask for a room at end of hall if possible.

Beds were very comfortable, shower worked well, and we were in walking distance to dozens of restaurants. It was a very nice hotel! There were others that were less expensive, but also were scary looking.

Ms Genes was closed when we were there, so explored other restaurants. Parking was on street, but felt safe. Our room did overlook parking lot, so was a little loud. Blackout curtains were a good touch, since it doesn’t get dark!

This is an absolutely awesome place to stay. Close to everything. The staff is amazing, especially Wes. He is just an awesome person to be around. Ask him to take you on a fishing adventure. Its well worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone

We stayed for one night after a cruise. We arrived at 9am and the hotel was happy to store our luggage until our rooms were ready. We were able to easily walk to the Sea Life Center and then walked around the small town. In the afternoon we did a sight seeing boat and when we returned our rooms were ready.
The rooms were comfortable and quiet. We had two rooms with two queen beds in each. It was a warm day for Seward and they had no air conditioner, but there was a fan in each room which made it very comfortable.
The lobby is special with lots to look at. The kids really enjoyed exploring.
In the morning the staff helped us get transportation to the railroad depot and it was quick and easy.
Upon leaving, we discovered the next night, in Anchorage, that my daughter had left her lifelong favorite stuffed animal in the bed at Hotel Seward. I called them the next morning and was told that he would get right on it and got our address. We were SO pleased when we returned from Alaska to find her beloved bunny in the mailbox. THANK YOU SO MUCH HOTEL SEWARD!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, beds were comfy, and rooms were clean. Easy walking to several restaurants, shopping, park and brewery. We stayed in "new" section. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If you like your own bathroom, choose to stay in new section
