We ate at Salmon Bake two nights in a row because the food was so good! We had the salmon and halibut both nights. They were both fabulous--hard to say which one was better! The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun, but what brought us back was the delicious food! Best salmon we had in Alaska!

Stopped by on our first night in Seward based on a summer-local's recommendation. Beer choices were good. Food was good the night we were there-our party had the chowder, halibut sandwich, burger, fish & chips & their famous salmon bake. Service the night we were there was good. Prices seem normal for a tourist-y Alaskan place.

Great atmosphere, great food. Large group of us all enjoyed our dinners. Large variety offered. I had the salmon and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the restaurant.

This place is a jewel. Not much to look at from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is all Alaskan. First, look for the big bucket of pickles sitting on the large scales next to the fireplace. The pickle are free, so help yourself. One item no longer on the menu, but still available most of the time is the seafood pesto pasta. Don't even worry about calories if you order this. It has salmon, red snapper, and shrimp in a fresh cream pesto sauce served over rigatoni pasta, served with a half round of sourdough bread. The portion is huge. I have never had a meal that was not outstanding. The service is great, ask for Jayme!!!
