we arrived late, and was looking forward to get into the room for a shower and some sleep. We checked in, to find out that our reserved room wasn't available, and we were upgraded at the hotels expences.

Ok, that's nice, we thought. We went out in the Car for our luggage, and then took the elevator to the 7th floor. We were dissapointet when we saw the room. It was really small, and the bathroon was...well, small as well. We got a balcony though, with an excellent view! The a/c was broken, så we had no opportunity to adjust the temperature, it was set at one temperature the whole time. We had to have the balcony-door closed at all times not to get the heat inside the room.

The breakfast was great! Great sortiment, and Nice, serviceminded staff.. Room-service was good, great food and very Nice prices.

We stayed for three days at Hotel Punta. All in all it was a good stay.

We were staying here for 2 weeks with a family, taking 3 rooms.
We had to face 2 main problems while living here:
1. Air-condition was broken. We were asking to solve the problem during 10 days and we had to make a complain on the reception that someone hears us finally!!! After 10 days they solved the problem.
2. One of our rooms every day was not possible to open. We had to go several times every day, to ask to recharge the card and to repair. A technician came also only after that complain, couldn't solve the problem though. And reception is obviosly suffering constantly of this old system with the cards, because at least 3 other rooms on our floor had the same problem.
The reception was not bad, they were quite helpful, but only after this case and some of them didn't speak english that good. Anyway most of all we liked Ines, who was always ready to help, always smiled and on the stressy check in she was the only one who was working really fast. Thank you!
The cleaning in our rooms was bad, the bathroom were not cleaned at all! The toilet was yellow and a bit stinky. Shampoos were not refilled with the new one's. Behind the table in the living room we found dust and mud. The cleaning ladies don't know the simple rules of the professional behaviour - 2 times they were trying to enter the room immediately after knocking, not waiting for an answer at all !!!
Special words we have for the breakfast and waiters there. The breakfast has average quality, no variety, no milk, no porridges. The waiters (especially Barbara and Martina) don't smile, don't say "Good morning", when they need to take something from the tables they don't even think to let you go through first as a guest! They don't speak foreign language good and giving you the feeling that you came to the funerals, not to the breakfast !
Despite all these things, the hotel is old (especially the bathrooms!) and needs a huge repair, and changing the card system.
We definetely are not coming back and won't recommend this hotel to our friends, but we hope that you change your attitude to the guests and services for them.

This is a great four star hotel with very reasonable prices. The food was excellent (both breakfast and dinner), the staff were very kind and friendly and very helpful. It wasn't too far to walk into the town of Vodice where there were lots of restaurants and bars. The room was very clean, bathroom was a bit tiny but more than adequate. We almost never use hotels pools (my wife sometimes has allergies), but the pools in Punta seemed very clean so we had to try them out (and we enjoyed them very much!). Wi-fi is free and very fast. Overall a very good stay, highly recommended.

My family lives in USA, my husband is an American and I am originally from Zagreb. My family loves Croatia, especially Dalmatian part and we have been to many Dalmatian cities over the years. Vodice is the most charming little place and hotel Punta was easily one of the best Croatian hotels we've been to. We didn't have high expectations when we first got there, but absolutely eveything was perfect: warm welcome at the reception, nice and comfortable rooms, FANTASTIC food selection during breakfast and dinner and amazing treatments at hotel's spa. Everything was extremely clean (I am very sensitive about that issue). Hotel has 2 pools and our kids enjoyed both of them. The price of the room was also very acceptable. We initially planned to stay here for 4 days, but liked it so much that we made it a full week.
We will be coming back to Vodice and our favorite hotel Punta!

Do not be given a good impression by reception.
4 star definitely NOT
We were supposed to be in a Superior Room...
Room small, dark, stained carpet, filthy, toilet stained. Safe didn't work, door keys had to be changed twice, free wi fi, that's a laugh... They give you a code on arrival and it must have to be put in every time you want to use wifi.
The pool was like a free for all local kids in afternoons, staff informed, did nothing about it. Cushions at pool bar are a total disgrace, filthy, torn, have thrown better on rubbish top.
Restaurant, that's what they call it!!!!Food was horrendous, no fresh yogurts, this slop they called yogurt already in dishes was like milk with food colouring... Greasy main courses, frozen veg, you always knew what you would be getting the next night as it seemed to be leftovers made into something from night before. Rotten fruit, same desserts, no choice at all.
Wellness & Spa, dark dingy room, filthy shower. Small pool, overcrowded with 3 people trying to swim at once.
Total disaster...
Never would stay here again even if free.
