My mom, sister and I stayed here for 9 days in July 2018. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is very friendly, they have several activities for kids and families, the pool is very nice, with a sand bottomed hot tub!
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and have a deck/lanai, the beds are comfortable, and the master bedroom boasts a claw foot, jacuzzi bath tub! There is a full kitchen, and plenty of room in our 2 room condo for the 3 of us, you could have probably up to 6 people with the pull out sofa.
The resort is very close to downtown Kona, with restaurants, shops and to local beaches.

Room Tip: Rooms near the pool are louder, but the pool closes at 10:00 pm

It started out a bit rocky here as we booked 2 condos with guaranteed 4pm check in, but our rooms weren’t ready until 5:15. However they did give us access to the pool so the kids were able to swim while we waited.

The resort is very close to everything. There are 2 pools, small but very nice. There were lots of free activities offered throughout the week for kids and adults alike.

There was a very informative breakfast on Saturday morning. An Expedia rep and island expert was there to tell us all about the island and all the different things to do. It was very helpful to us as first timers, and booking thru her got us some excellent discounts. But the catch is that in order to get said discounts, you have to sit thru a sales pitch to buy into Wyndham.

The condos themselves were nice. Very clean and well equipped. The only downside is that we were on the bottom and could hear everything going on above us. It was roaring rapids every time someone upstairs flushed a toilet. Fine during the day, but not so easy to sleep through in the middle of the night.

My husband and I stayed at the Wyndham in May of 2017 and we loved it there. It was like having our own little apartment in paradise for a week. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay

I am surprised by any of the negative reviews of this fine timeshare. It is exactly as the pictures describe it. Lovely authentic Hawaiian look that was charming a spacious. The kitchen was a good size for our family of five who made two made two meals a day and it had all the needed equipment. The living room was huge and the pullout couch was comfortable. A DVD or music player would have been nice. The main bedroom also large and had access to the teak wood porch with additional dining, relaxing and sitting area. The second bedroom was a good size. Overall I think it was bigger than most 2 bedroom apartments.

The location is perfect! Walkable distance to town, south to the lower side of the island, and easy to get to the east side. Not too far from the airport or grocery store. Suggestion: we found Safe Way Groceries online before we left home and planned meals around the store specials. No need to join a frequent shoppers club.

Anyone who was disappointed didn't see the reviews or pictures. The property was gorgeous with numerous plantings and extremely well maintained. There are two tropical pools that we didn't spend much time at with all the things there are to do on the Big Island. If you are coming as a timeshare owner, its an excellent value! For the number of points it takes to get here, you had a completely different experience than we did. Not a single complaint.

Thank you to everyone on staff! We want to especially thank the front desk that allowed my son, who had a much later flight than the rest of the family, to enjoy the pool, exercise area, and even check his bags while he explored the town waiting for his flight. Another thank you goes out to the maid who found our list Kindle! We scoured the place many times and moved the pullout couch and could not find it. But she did and returned it. Impressive honesty!!!

Nice rooms, full kitchen, friendly staff, located 3 miles from downtown. Family loved pool areas. If you go shopping bring your own shopping bags. You are charge for a bag, some may be .10 and some may be $1.50. Walmart has no bags!!!
