This was our second time staying at the hotel. The location is steps away from Ali’i Drive and 95% cheaper than the hotels in Waikoloa. Service from the get go was excellent. Definitely will be back. With its location to the King Kamehameha Hotel, it’s a pickup point for tours throughout the island.

Note - I'm actually a resident of the area, decided to stay there overnight one weekend.

It's one of the older hotels, but the room was clean, seemed well maintained and the price was right.

Check in was easy, and there was a surprising number of security guards given the size of the building. Still good to know that they're keeping an eye on things given the number of break ins in the area recently.

Anyone looking to save some money on food should avoid eating along/around Ali'i Drive. The ambiance is kinda cool, but none of the restaurants down there are particularly good IMHO.

Room was nice and clean with great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants on Alii drive. All rooms have balcony with some view. The location of this hotel does not provide any ocean view.
Get a room with pool view, you can see ocean at distance from the balcony.

The staff is always so friendly no matter what time of the day or night. The staff goes above & beyond to accommodate each guest. The hotel & rooms are kept very clean. Beautiful views no matter what side of the hotel you stay on.

Finding a clean, decent place to stay in Kona without taking out a second mortgage is not easy. This hotel has been around awhile but is in exceptional condition. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. They give you a voucher for breakfast at Splashers which is close by and you have three breakfast choices. The macadamia nut pancakes are pretty darn good! There is a free public parking lot about 100 yards from the hotel if you want to save the $10 parking fee. Would definitely stay again!
