We have visited the resort beach several times during our stay in Biograd. The bay is lovely, with almost carribean like sea, very comfy water access, nice swimming pool and leisure possibilities. I must however say, I was very dissapointed by a rather slow service in the beach bar and bistro. It wasn 't any extremely busy and however we always needed to remind the waiter to notice us and EVERY time we waited for more than an hour from our order for simple meals such as pasta or burgers. They even managed to mess up our order once, so after an hour wait, half of the kids did not get their food...
I must say the place is really one of the nicest I have seen in Croatia, and I hope they can improve their hospitality services as it is the only reproach we had.

The bay at Crvena Luka is amazing , the water crystal clear ideal for swimming - didn't need to go in the pool once ! Plenty of sun beds and beach towels are provided.
The resort is very quiet and the bar and restaurant were closed when we arrived at 10.30pm. There was entertainment 2 of the nights of our stay.
There are only 2 restaurants - one self service and the other Italian with limited menu. We did take the 'foot/cycle path' into Biograd (it takes about 40 mins walking) and Pakostano (similar distance) where there are several bars and restaurants for a change of scene.
The rooms in the hotel are very nice definitely 4*
Crvena Luka needs a shuttle bus , another restaurant or snack bar and a supermarket if you haven't got transport.

We stayed here for two nights so we could visit Kornati National Park. This was one of the best hotels in the area and it is a 3.5 star at its best.
The rooms were ok, our was not particularly clean when we arrived. The bed was probably one of the most uncomfortable I have slept in for a long time, the duvet was not the best and small, when my husband turned he pulled it off me. The bathroom was ok, only had a shower. The property is a bit like being in a holiday camp, large with a map showing you where everything is.
There is a beach with a beach bar, there is also a pool which is small and I guess you would have to get there early to get a bed.
We were here for a reason and the National Park was worth staying here for.
Lunch was nice, breakfast was plentiful and buffet, no problem with this.
Town in 5 mins away in a car with a port which is buzzing at night, plenty of restaurants nearby as we didn't really want to eat in the hotel.
There is a Gelataria onsite with lovely flavour ice creams - cashpoint was helpful
If you want to take a boat out to see the sheer beauty of the National Park then I guess you would stay here!

The beach and the surrounding is really very beautiful, a lot of deckchairs and free beachtowels; but the rest - considering the price and the four stars, still a lot of shortcomings.
The hotel is quite remote and you have to have a car or at least a bike. It is not possible to walk on the beach to Biograd, but on the cycling road. We tried on the beach, but I would not recommend it - first you have to climb around the fence like a thief, than there is a small path with a lot of snakes. To get back, we took a taxi.
You should try cycling to and around Vransko lake - very beautiful.
Prices in he hotel for drinks are quite high compared to prices elsewhere.
You can get free sports equipment, but mini golf and table tennis area are quite desserted and not cleaned.
The breakfast was average - there is better choise of food in some 3 stars hotels (including freshly prepared eggs).
When making a reservation, we got a lot of nformation, but in French language.
Rooms were nice, well cleaned. I like to sleep in complete darkness, which was not possible - all electric switches had strong blue lights, not to miss them in the dark - so it was like to sleep in the disco (unless you pulled out the electronic card).
Generally, I expected more from this hotel.

In hindsight we wished we'd hired a car as the resort is some distance from Biograd - about 40 minute walk along the cycle track. End of the season which suited us as there were under a 100 people there and we were told there can be 700 in August! Lovely room with all amenities except a bath which we happen to like but which may not be a big deal to others as shower very good. Food self service buffet style but great choice of dishes although after a week we were fed up with fairly blandish food and yearned for something spicy. Food sometimes luke warm in the evenings whereas breakfast was excellent. Leisure centre had good pool and useage was free. Staff all friendly and very efficient

Room Tip: Rooms on the back facing the sea best
