This is a lovely hotel with about 35 rooms set along the main pedestrian high street near the main lifts. The rooms are typically Austrian, very clean , with all the basics and a very large plasma screen with a good selection of UK channels. The hotels says that it is not a "Wellness Hotel " but they still have a reasonable swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The only thing missing was a Jacuzzi, but this is only a minor point.

I think the best thing about this hotel is the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The evening meal was always of very high quality, with some excellent puddings. The only down side was the vegetarian menu which was limited to one option and this did not always suit my daughter's taste, however, the staff were always willing to mix and match dishes to suit her requirement to the best they could.

One of the reasons for booking the hotel was the proximity to the lifts, with the hotel only being about 5-10 minutes stroll away.

Probably going back next year.

We arrived on Monday evening later than the usual check-in time. Not a problem at Sporthotel St. Anton. They kept a table in the steakhouse reserved for us. This first small sign of hospitality set the standard for the entire crew in this hotel.
They make you feel welcome!!!

The ladies at the early morning breakfast are greeting you with big smiles and freshly brewed coffee, the staff at the front desk, the lovely lady that cleaned our room, the masseuse in the hotel Spa & sauna; there all extremely friendly.
We stayed in room 304 which provides nice views. The room was spacious, clean and the room temperature was perfect.
The hotel Spa & Sauna were a treat after a long day on the slopes.

For us the location of the hotel was one of the main reasons to pick this hotel; 300 yards from the train station, 300 yards from the three main ski lifts and right in the center of colorful St. Anton am Arlberg.

We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Everything about our stay at the Sporthotel was excellent. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and every aspect immaculately clean. Would have liked a kettle in the room. The view from the room was delightful and the temperature throughout the hotel was perfect. I never felt in the slightest bit too hot or too cold - it was 'just right'! The breakfast buffet was abundant, delicious and fresh. The hotel bar was a lovely place to wind down at the end of the day. The hotel restaurant was exceptional - perfectly sized portions, generous salad bar and exquisite food. The ability to come in from the snow and put your skis and boots away downstairs before entering the hotel was proper was very convenient. The pool was adequate but indoors and a little busy.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front of the hotel are quieter as at the back you have the noise of trucks unloading.

This is a traditional hotel in the beautiful town of St Anton and an ideal base for a ski holiday. I would say that the staff of this hotel are probably the best I have ever encountered. Rooms were impeccably clean & comfortable. Food was excellent (half board) at breakfast & dinner and staff made every effort to accommodate my partner who is coeliac. The prepared special versions of the menu dishes and had gluten free bread at table for every meal. Unfortunately I was injured on day 2 of the trip and could not ski but in this hotel, with excellent wifi, the days passed quickly. All in all I would rate this hotel as one of the best I have stayed in. There is a pool, sauna etc. to help recover from a hard day on the slopes.

Traveled here from Germany on a coach holiday. Our overnight stay before our onwards to Lake garda Italy. We got here late afternoon. The hotel is very nice. Our room was perfect for our first wedding anniversary. We had lovely large balcony. The food and service was spot on, the view from the balcony was breathtaking in the morning, wish we could have stayed longer
