Very quaint hotel in the French Quarter on Burgundy. Reasonably priced with a great and friendly staff. Two blocks to Bourbon but far enough to not hear too much noise with the exception of loud vehicles. You can park and walk without any problems.More

Hotel was great, Location was great rooms are very clean check in and check out was easy, except for parking, $25 a night and you may not have access to your car so then you have to pay for Uber, and then when you tell the manager about your concerns you get I’m sorry and it’s just shrugged off

Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear about the issues you had with parking. We have been offering a discounted rate of $26.33 per night compared to the $45 a night before the pandemic. I am the manager that you spoke with and I am sorry you felt like I did not care. In fact I do, but since we dont have a valet company to help us right now we dont allow ins and outs during high volume nights. Since you stayed with us over the New Years holiday, which is usually one of the largest ones in the city, we did not have the staff to move around vehicles in our parking lot. I hope you would consider us for any other trips back to New Orleans.
I found this for a great deal on a short notice. Super cool rooms with awesome memorabilia. Staff was very friendly and the location is amazing. I am not sure who is complaining about the parking because the lot is literally across the street. Yes, it is small, but it is literally HALF the price of most French Quarter hotels.
The location is literally a 5 minute walk from Bourbon and saw no sketchy characters around. Very artsy residential neighborhood.
The bed was amazing and the room has a very retro feel. Very easy to deal with and super cool art around the property.
My only two complaints were very minor. One was the fact that the remote control didn't really work with the TV, but who in the heck goes to New Orleans to watch TV? The other was the water pressure in the shower was kinda iffy, but at least it was hot.
Great stay for a great price. Will definitely be back.

Used towels was left in room. I was charged for for another room and hair was in the bathroom and in the wash clothes. The location was great close to everything. They need to pay attention to detail and the stay would have been better

First,you will have to drive almost a mile away to park, and it will cost you $54.00 for one night. They only have 15 spaces for 79 rooms. The hotel blames it on no valet company at the moment, however they could hire someone to park cars for them. Next, be prepared to be without tv(no remotes, tv inop), no shower curtain, and only two towels with one wash cloth. For a hotel so uptight about Covid (don't even try to walk in without a mask), the rooms are nasty. Dust all along the edge of the tile in the bathroom and the carpet is disgusting. I am not sure how to get booked in the picturesque rooms portrayed online? The rooms reek. Front desk was notified of the shower curtain and tv issues(could not be corrected) They could care less about the parking problem. However, on a positive note, it provides authentic vintage experience in the French quarter if you have no where else to stay. Given the deplorable conditions on Bourbon Street that accompanied this stay, we will likely not return to New Orleans.

Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear about your issues with our parking lot. Since we are in the French Quarter we are lucky enough to even have a parking lot to accommodate a few cars. Since it sounds like this is your first time to New Orleans, this is a walking city. Not originally built for all the vehicle traffic that it now sees. Our valet company has been closed since March of last year. Thats a fact, not an excuse. I'm sorry that you feel that way. We have been lucky to stay open during the pandemic. I am sorry to hear about the issues and we have made corrections. Maybe once this pandemic is over and you feel more comfortable to travel, maybe we could try and win your business back.
Overall, small but sweet room. Better like who your staying with because its a small space with character. Shower is small, but who really cares when you know you'll be out exploring the beautiful New Orleans life!!
