Stayed here on Halloween weekend with my wife and had an enjoyable time. The staff are very polite, helpful with any recommendations you need, but are not intrusive at all. The room we had was nice and well taken care of.
This place is also in a great neighborhood to go walking and see some fantastic old homes. A morning stroll should be part of your trip if you stay here.
They're also very close to Shaya and La Petit Grocery on Magazine Street. Dining at at least one of these establishments is a must.
The last point is it's nicely far from the noise of the French Quarter but not so far away that getting there is time consuming. If you don't grab an uber you're only two blocks from the St. Charles line Street Car which is a wonderful scenic ride in its own right. The only item to note is the street car is not as timely as advertised. Don't use it if you're in a big hurry.

Everything about our stay was a "10" - from being greeted by Tom at arrival with loads of information, to fresh breakfast every morning cooked by Patricia, we could not have been more pleased. They have thoughtful touches throughout including an honor bar for refreshment and fresh baked goods when you come home after a busy day of sightseeing. The room was comfortable and the bathroom met all our needs. We were in their smallest bedroom located just off the kitchen - Tom warned us it might be noisy as it was adjacent to the kitchen. We are early risers so this was not an issue. I was grateful that Tom took the time to reach out to us after we booked to make sure the room wouldn't be a disappointment. It's those kinds of details that made our stay unique and rewarding. He and Patricia were also a walking encyclopedia of recommendations for dining and sightseeing options. They know their city and the pride of place shows in how they talk about NOLA. The location is superb, on a quiet street in the Garden District, which allowed easy access to the streetcars on St. Charles and a short walk to Magazine for shopping and dining options. Breakfast is a community affair and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. Many thanks for a great visit to NOLA - We will be back!

Room Tip: The Desiree is close to the kitchen so can be loud if you aren't a sound sleeper. This didn't bother us in the least as we are early risers.

I am sorry it has taken so long to do this review. We were here March 22, 2014.
I have to say that when we come back to Louisiana this will be our place. It's wonderful and the owners were amazing. Rooms, staff, food, all great. I will come back here again soon, Maison Perrier has my absolute thumbs up :)

We had a family reunion of 12 people this August and everyone stayed at Maison Perrier. It is a charming B & B and the hosts are charming also.
This was our second stay and we hope to be able to return.

We stayed at Maison Perrier back in late October '15 on part of our honeymoon roadtrip and been meaning to write a review since. We stayed four nights and wish we could move in forever! Tom and Patricia's hospitality was second to none and everything about the place was perfect.
It has been seven months and I'm still craving the breakfast. The almond croissant French toast was to die for - I've tried recreating it at home but it's not the same!
The location is also great with ample safe parking. We loved our stay and wish we could go back!
