We walked about 30 minutes from the French quarter to get there. It was well worth the wait. The staff were friendly, place was clean despite people constantly coming and going eating inside. No awful seafood smell, everything smelled good. I only take away from the shrimp being overcooked. Now the Crawfish, snow crab legs and sausage were worth the walk and met all my expectations. I would walk their again! Oh don't let the long lines discourage you, wait it out because it moves fast.

This used to be a hidden gem for the locals, however tourists have learned of this place. It needs no advertising because their reputation for providing great food is well known. My favorite is the shrimp po-boy, and I usually get a boiled turkey neck. They have hot, boiled and fresh seafood.

This was my first time visiting New Orleans and Cajun Seafood. Everything was good and seasoned well. I had the best shrimp fried rice from here. The staff was friendly and nice. I'll be back soon.

Big shop and large parking lot and still crowded.

if you want real boiled seafood, shrimp, crab, or crawfish without all the fuss without driving to breaux bridge this is the destination.

In 8 trips to NOLA the only place ive eaten lunch and dinner in the same place. (full disclaimer Chef Rons my favorite gumbo was closed on Sunday)

Stand in a fast moving line for boiled seafood. You pick you crustaceans, boiled potato or corn if you want and you are off. All by the lb.

The crawfish were spicy as they should be. Fresh just made...

The catfish poboy was excellent. 2 huge filets that were crispy, but not oily. The coating was perfect. Not too thick to overwhelm the moist, soft fish. It was just out of the fryer. The french bread had just the right crunch to the crust. This was a huge poboy. Not the mini poboy that killer poboy passes off a a poboy that resembles a bahn mi.

The seafood gumbo... what a bargain. As i waited for my crawfish my gf was on the food line for our gumbo. When i saw the size i thought she ordered the wrong size. We ordered small yet this was big. It was very hot temp wise as well as spice level.
If you are a lightweight in terms of heat, do not order it. it was chock full of shell that favored the broth, and had shrimp, and other fish in it. If it weren't enough of a bargain, on the side it came with a box of white rice.

One of my favorite poboys and gumbo in NOLA. Fast, fresh, and kinda a bargain

Delicious and affordable have to be the best ways of describing this joint. It’s clean inside and there’s a line for drinks and a line for your boiled seafood. Get ya some snow crab clusters and get ready for the most savory and succulent crab you’ll ever have. They had crawfish too but it’s so early in the season the little buggers aren’t very big. They sure are easy to peel and the meat is very tender. The flavor of this meal can’t be out done.

It’s worth leaving the regular hot spots in town to venture over.
I will be back here and will bring friends.
