Gumbo! Crab Cakes, Bread Pudding! That's all you need to say!
This restaurant is a short walk in the French Quarter from most hotels. Extensive menu of great creole cuisine. The wait staff is very attentive and treats customers as honored guests. They greet long time customers by name and seem to know what they want to have for dinner. The food is really GOOD!

We came to Mr. B's Bistro on a recommendation from my cousin and it was delicious! Located one street down from Bourbon, on the much nicer Royal St., Mr. B's bistro has a very nice atmosphere about it! Relaxed and casual, yet looking elegant at the same time! We had the gumbo for an appetizer - my husband had the chicken/sausage and I had the seafood. Very tasty, but had a bit of a kick! For entrees, we donned the paper bibs the waiter put on us and had 'Mr. B's BBQ shrimp'. So yummy, and the bins were necessary !! We peeled our own shrimp and soaked up the buttery sauce with some soft French loaf! Pricing was very reasonable for two appetizers, two mains and a few drinks each.

What a treat - a beautiful old restaurant with delicious food and the best service ever! Juan kept our water glasses full and was attentive to used dishes, and our waiter and a circling manager gave us a wonderful dining experience.

Dinner was good. We were 2 tables full and we all liked our food. All I remember is the white chocolate brownie, to dire for! The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The bathrooms are downstairs for my wheelchair bound mother. I got the duck springrolls, it was ok....passed them off on my cousin. He liked them with his mother. I ate the Truffle Butter Filet Mignon with the bistro salad, all good!
