We got in late as since our flight was delayed. Our host recommended Bud's because it was open. We went and ordered burgers and fries. The service was slow but the place was packed so that was a good sign. It was worth the wait. Great burger.

My family popped in here for a late snack supper and we were very pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The workers were all extremely nice and the service was pretty quick.

I liked it all. Dropped in after the Saints game on Sunday for a #4, cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. You can't get BBQ sauce at many places in uptown. I also had a favorite...a baked peach turnover; yeah baby!

Bud's is just the best burger in town. A number 4 with sauce, add chili cheese fries and a chocolate shake and your hangover is cured! The owner is super friendly, the burger's are delicious and Bud's is a classic New Orleans institution. I love his place!

This review is for the shop up by City Park.

My only complaint was they were out of fries and onion rings (though it was new year's day, so maybe that had something to do with it).

Otherwise, the food was reasonably priced, no fancy froo-froo-wagu-beef-wasabi-on-a-teff-bun-with-aioli....nope, just a really good that was filling without being huge, tasty without being greasy.

And they have deep-fried pie.

What's not to like about that?
