We stayed at this location for six nights; some of that time was for vacation, some was for a conference at a much more expensive hotel around the corner on Canal Street. We had a King bedroom on the fourth floor and, while the view was only of a wall directly in front of our window, the rest of the room was clean and recently updated. The bathroom was a single-vanity with a tub insert. We didn't have very warm water in the shower for the duration of our stay, but NOLA was so hot when we went that it never mattered to us. The breakfast was generally an average hotel breakfast with the usual hotel breakfast fare, but a few mornings there were fresh omelettes made special order which was a nice surprise.
The service at this hotel is outstanding. All of the front desk help was very kind and fun and the staff working the breakfast every morning were delightful. Make sure to tip your omelette maker!
We would definitely stay here again. As others have said, the location is perfect without having to pay "proper French quarter" prices and there's an incredible brunch spot just across the street.More
