Situated on the edge of Lake Pontchartrain with outside deck (note no umbrellas--so be certain of the position of the sun). This is a large restaurant -- not a foodie type operation. The staff is super southern friendly. The food was average. When they say fried, they mean fried (read very heavy batter.) The grilled fish of the day was well prepared. Prices are reasonable (entrees in the low $20 range). This is clearly a locals place--lots of high school kids there last Sat. evening celebrating homecoming.
It is about a 10 - 15 minute Uber ride out of town so not many tourists. We were a group of nine and enjoyed sitting on the deck. Would I return, probably not--too many
choices in town.
