The rooms were beautiful. Joe and Bebe's service and suggestions were always on point. There were always snacks and water provided even after breakfast hours. Couldn't have been happier. Would definitely stay here again if we visited New Orleans.

My husband and I stayed at Avenue Inn back in mid June. Joe met us at the back door as we drove to the back to park in the parking area and helped us carry our stuff inside. We arrived earlier than the regular check-in time but Joe accommodated us. Bebe, Joe's wife, was very nice, personable, and helpful (they both were nice and very helpful). Our room was big and comfy. We highly recommend this B&B and will certainly be back when we come to NO again (soon). Thanks, Joe and Bebe. :)

My daughter and I were in New Orleans to visit Tulane University. We had a wonderful stay at the Avenue Inn bed and breakfast! Everything was clean, there were always water and snacks available, and the other guests were quiet and respectful . The Inn sits right on a stop for the St. Charles streetcar, which made it very convenient to get both to Tulane University and also to the French Quarter. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great sleep. Joe and Bebe are wonderful hosts!

We love our University families who come to check out the schools. We are only about 1 mile via streetcar from the campuses and that makes it so easy for them to make their morning tour appointments. Hope to see them back if they choose one of the schools.

What a fantastic place. Steeped in history to outdo any large hotel. Joe and Bebe are the perfect hosts with unlimited knowledge of the area. Their hospitality is second to none. The B&B is beautiful, we had a lovely room with comfortable beds. They really do know how to look after their guests with lots of little touches. Breakfast was great and lots of choices!! Only a few steps from the tram line that takes you directly into the French quarter.

What a great family! Loved having them here and loved meeting their very courteous kids who were a joy to have in our home too. Glad we met hospitality expectations and that they enjoyed their stay. Lovely comments appreciated.

Our host joe met us at the door and showed us how to operate the door and where to park. He also gave us each a newly baked cookie. That cookie was the start of a love affair with his cakes. Amazing Louisiana pound cakes each morning at breakfast,
Our room was very spacious and all that was needed including extra pillows. There were always bottles of water available as well as snacks and sweets (candies) and breakfast was in a beautiful dining room. The street car stopped outside the hotel and we got day passes and explored New Orleans by day and night. Really sensible library rule joe told us to be quiet between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am if possible so we were never disturbed by other guests.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior queen which also gas a comfy sitting area

So glad these guests from Scotland enjoyed the stay with us. We're happy that they appreciated the efforts that we make to provide a memorable and enjoyable visit including our focus on a restful sleep at night. While not specifically a rule, more of a suggestion, we've had lots of success with our library hours at night. We hope others will come and give us a try.
