A must go to area. Sure it’s touristy, but it is a must area if you’re in New Orleans, sort of like fisherman’s wharf in SF, as far as being a go to place. Food, music, drinks etc.

Everything you would expect of a street where all you do is party and have fun. It’s like Vegas compressed into a street

We ended up in New Orleans because Alberto was headed towards Orange Beach, AL. I should've taken my chances with Alberto. My children definitely got to see how other people live on this trip, walking past strip clubs with nude people dancing on the tables and drunk people dancing in the streets. It's ok if you stay with the crowd but down the dark streets with less people look dangerous and you can smell drugs in the air. I would like to go back and enjoy the foolery when I don't have to watch out for my children.

The highlight of the tour! Music on the street and in and out of the pubs.Doors open to one and all, music playing from door to door. The culture is inherent , mixed, unique and stimulating. Wedding parading down the street in the daytime .A definite do over, and time to do a HAPPY DANCE!.

Entered the area around 7:30pm and was smoking cigars and having shots of Don Julio 1942 by 9pm. Bourbon Street is a fun and crazy place. Everything and everyone is there acting like I did. The music was great, and was pounding out the tunes. I am a big fan of R&B and Hip Hop and having a good buzz on and listening and feeling the bass was pretty cool.

Grabbed a souvenir and left it somewhere in my drunken haze. Had some great tacos at a small back patio place, do not remember the name surprisingly...haha.

I am sure Mardi Gras would be insane. Seen a couple of people flash that should never flash.

Did get some beads, and a wicked hangover too.
