Like most areas in New Orleans, it still shows damage from the storms, but worth the trip. Nice shops there too, expensive but nice.

This historic property started and helped the preservation effort throughout the French Quarter. A must see for everyone interesting in history, decorative arts, and modern art. An amazing collection!

HNOC is a must stop on your visit to New Orleans. The exhibits were amazing as is the Vieu Carre app for finding your way around the quarter and wonderful information and pictures of the historic buildings in the French Quarter.

Just a block off of Bourbon St a real hidden gem. If you like history and want to learn more about NOLA this is a great place and it is FREE! Give yourself a couple of hours to see it all. Old maps, street car memorabilia, French Quarter galleries, and changing exhibitions. Kids might get a bit board, but us a bit more mature had a fine time. And it was air conditioned.
