I was lucky to stop by before they closed the doors to visitors (assuming they were going to have a mass?). It's free to visit, but there's a donation box in the front.

A cathedral is at the front of Jackson Square and you cannot miss it. It is large and beautiful inside that there are miracles and while attending Christmas by ass they had live music and the Who’s Who of the catholic royalty were there. It was a great experience and would certainly recommend a visit.

Wanted to go to visit this Cathedral. Heard it was beautiful.
Planned my day around it and then found it was closed.
Could not find information of why it was closed on the website, no sign on the door stating when it will be open.
Most Churches welcome visitors at Christmas time............this one is closed!!!!

The Cathedral is incredibly beautiful. We stayed for mass which was also a plus. The architecture is something you must see. Jackson square is across so take a walk through.

I don't know if the Cathedral has performances throughout the year but we went before Christmas and they had a beautiful organ concert. It was fabulous.
