the French Quarter during Mardi gras is NUTS!!!!!!! So crowded and a raunchy crowd but still lots of fun. Not a place for kids!

“What's not to like?”
Reviewed 25 February 2012

If it is your first visit, you may not know where to go, so just explore; you'll learn where everything is, just take your time and experience it. Once you've been here a few times, you'll get to know it better, but each time it is different, and nothing like it anywhere else!

“Wonderful to visit while in Nola! So manything to see & do. Must do!”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

I should have write review long time ago about this nice destination while visiting Nola....but never get around to it. Very sweet, quaint, warm Southern charm with lots of things going on: wonderful bars, shops, street vendors, street performers, galleria, restaurants....not to forget about the old, authentic French buildings around.

I particularly like all the wonderful decorations during the Mardi Gras. All the houses/shops are adorned with these wreaths, ornaments, ribbons, masks, flowers, beads....so beautiful & festive...I also love their gallery, very authentic and beautiful original works from locals artists. They have some of the best hats shops I have ever seen....and believe me, I have seen some nice hat shops in Europe!
The horse carriage is a very beautiful fun activities to view & visit the French Quarter area....they will tell you stories & history about the area while you taking the ride. Worth your money if you are into this kind of stuffs.

All the street performers are another nice activity while visiting the French Quarter. It's fun, entertaining & free...but it's very New Orleans & very authentic.

I forget how much fun & how much I like New Orleans till I come. Come visit & have the best time!

“Stunning architecture”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

It's fun and free to wander the streets, which are gorgeous. Check out the little boutiques and don't miss a stop at the French Market.
