After some days in Ubud my GF and I were in search of something less crowded and we found a little piece of paradise at this small resort! It's at the sea, has a nice little pool and two big ones of you rent a suite.
The staff will go out of their way to make everything perfect. We got a lot of help in organizing day-trips and transportation. Making sure we would not overpay and got at the right place.

We recommend this place to everybody!

Umah Tinjung Resort is an absolutely fantastic place with the best service, you could ever wish for. Henry, the owner of the place and his daughter Melinda who runs the place, are the nicest people and will do everything for their guests to have a good stay. It is clean and tidy and the rooms are very nice with very good comfy beds and air-con. Delicious pools and a beautiful garden. The food is delicious and they will come with menu suggestions. Our daughter is suffering from celiac disease, and they did everything to make her food, that she could eat, which was absolutely amazing. Can only recommend this place to anyone who wants a wonderful place to stay with lots of pampering.

Stayed a night here and wish we could have extended it.
The Architecture of the of our accomodation was unique in a shape of the traditional salt collection vessel
Sit along the rock wall in the evening and watch the fishermen come in with their fresh catch and buy them and our gracious host Pak Henri will prepare it for you.
Take five minutes drive to see the majestic view of Mt Agung
Strongly recommend this place if you want to sit back and relax
Visit Amed when you are there for beautiful still crystal clear water for diving and snorkelling

It is located right on the beach.
We stayed at the family room which has its own pool, with a verandah overlooking the ocean and sacred mt Agung.
We were served with very fresh seafood that just caught by fishermen in the ocean.
In the evening staff played music instrument such as sasando, guitar entertaining us. Staff are very engine and friendly that made our stay memorable.
We will promote it to our friends and family.

Bali Umah Tinjung is located in Kubu, Karangasem, a 3 hours drive from Denpasar. It is 15 minutes from the famous diving side in Amed (famous for its shipwreck).

Tinjung means the basket for salt pinning. That's why all the houses are in the form of "tinjung".

The properties have 2 big villas (2 bed rooms and swimming pool) and 8 rooms. It is located right in front of the sea. There is no beach in this area. But it is the perfect side for fishing. The catch is a big fish... a real big fish.

The bedroom is clean with homey atmosphere. What I love beside the interesting architect is the service. Staff in Umah Tinjung provided me with genuine hospitality. Kia, the service staff, took me for seeing the scenery around Umah Tinjung and accompanying me for snorkeling. She was ready to sit with me to catch the sunrise the next morning. While Daniel not only he served the dinner and lunch but at night he will perform " Sasando" harp-like traditional music string instrument native to Rote Island of East Nusa Tenggara. He is a good singer.

Umah Tinjung is good for those who love quiet, fishing and nature lovers. Highly recommended for snorkeling trip too.

Room tip: Ask for Agung Villa. The swimming pool is very big for a villa.
