I know it says a Spanish restaurant, but I usually go to Unicorn when I want a good steak in kunshan. The filet is amazing and I’ve probably had it over 8 times. My buddy will usually get the ribeye which looks just as good. The place is cozy and feels like you walked into a western joint. Wines are good and a decent beer selection. I am guilty of indulging in their margaritas, which is a nice cap after a savory steak. Oh and make sure to say hi to Julie, she’s a gem!

Thank Nick S

I've been coming to unicon for many years. Because im so familar I did not think to do a review. Time to fix that mistake.
The owner strives to make the wide selection of cuisine as authentic as is possible in a country where some ingredients needed are not common and are expensive to aquire.
The food: western leanining towards spanish. Varied menu from delicate hand made pastas, imported steak, to pizza and all with sophisticated flavors uncommon in kunsan and as good as any in Shanghai.
The service: The staff speak good english the menu is in english. The service is as good as it gets..
Price. Good for the quality . You can have pasta and a glass of red for under 100 rmb ($25ish au). Which is good for for the quality however could be considered a little expensive compared to some bars, 75 rmb for the same but the wine will be better and so will the pasta.
wine and beer: large selection of both. Good wine in china is expensive compared to most western countries. For any good start at 300 rmb. Here start at 220 for a lindemans from oz which is reasonable and go up from there. The house red is quite drinkable at 50rmb a glass.
lots of German and Belguim beer available in bottles. Beck and carsberg on tap at the time of writing.
Summing up. Its a nice place to be to for any traveler looking to have a rest from china. It has a beautiful outlook whether outside on a nice day or snug and warm inside on a cold Kunshan winter.
Yes it is a little expensive to eat every day but great to treat yourself or for a special occasion.

Unicorn has a diverse menu with lots of imported food and drink options. The price is high got Kunshan, but Unicorn is a good place to sit and catch up with friends. Very clean.

Called in here after hearing some good reports, & were not disappointed. It is located along a strip with other restaurants & bars. The food was very tasty & a good price, the service also very good.

If you are in Kunshan then give it a try.
